📌About the Event

The Odoo × NMIT Bangalore Hackathon 2026 is a hiring-focused coding competition organized by Odoo India in collaboration with Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT), Bengaluru. Participants will solve surprise problem statements and demonstrate their coding, problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork skills. The competition begins with an 8-hour virtual round, followed by a 24-hour on-campus finale at NMIT Bangalore for shortlisted teams.

• Registration Deadline: 16 August 2026
• The registration portal shows ticket sales ending at 12:00 AM on 17 August 2026, effectively the end of 16 August.
• Virtual Round: 22 August 2026
• Timing: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Duration: 8 hours
• Virtual Round Results: 2 September 2026, by 7:00 PM
• Final Round: 10–11 October 2026
• Final Venue: Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT), Bengaluru

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Eligibilty:
• Open to tech students, freshers, and coding enthusiasts aged 18+.
• No prior professional experience is required.
• Teams can have minimum 1 and maximum 4 members.
• Participants from different colleges or institutions can form a team.
• All programming languages and suitable technology stacks are permitted.
• Registration Rules:
• Only the team leader needs to register the team initially.
• Other team members must log in and accept the hackathon invitation.
• Registration requires a GitHub account.
• A participant who registers for an Odoo hackathon cannot apply for another Odoo hackathon for the next 3 months.

• 🏆 Winner: ₹45,000 + Odoo goodies + certificate
• 🥈 First Runner-up: ₹35,000 + Odoo goodies + certificate
• 🥉 Second Runner-up: ₹25,000 + Odoo goodies + certificate
• 💰 Total Cash Prize Pool: ₹1,05,000
• 💼 Odoo Job Opportunity: Exceptional performers may receive fresher job offers with ₹5–8 LPA CTC, subject to eligibility.
• Participants do not necessarily have to win to be considered for employment; hiring and hackathon rankings are separate outcomes.
• Experienced candidates may receive higher compensation based on Odoo’s company policy.
• Odoo is also looking for talented web designers, in addition to developers.
• 📜 Teams participating in the final round receive a Participation Certificate.
