📌About the Event

The BHU Photography Competition & Exhibition 2026 is being organised by the Department of Applied Arts, Faculty of Visual Arts, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in association with OBSCURA – The Photography Art Club of BHU to celebrate World Photography Day 2026. Photography enthusiasts were invited to submit their creative work, with selected photographs being showcased in an offline exhibition at BHU.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Eligibilty:
• The competition is open to all photography enthusiasts; participation is not restricted to BHU students.
• Each photograph should have a proper title.
• A participant can submit a maximum of 3 photographs.
• Multiple/repeated entries are not accepted.
• Photographs should avoid watermarks, logos, borders and unnecessary digital manipulation.
• Entries are submitted through the organizer’s registration form.
• Photographs undergo a selection process, and only selected entries proceed to the physical exhibition.
