📌About the Event
The AIS Design Olympiad (ADO) 8.0 is a national-level architecture and design competition organized by Asahi India Glass Ltd. (AIS). The 2026–27 edition focuses on the theme “Mixed-Use Buildings for Future Extremes – Designing for 2050.” Participants must envision climate-resilient, intelligent mixed-use buildings that combine sustainability, adaptive façades, renewable energy, AI-assisted design, innovative materials, and human-centric spaces.

- Round 1: Online design submission
- Round 2: Regional jury rounds
- Round 3: National grand finale with final presentations and an AIS manufacturing facility visit
- Team Size: 2–4 students
- Competition Structure: Three stages — online screening, regional rounds and national finale.
- Shortlisting: Top 10 submissions from each zone progress from the online round; top teams from regional rounds advance to the finale.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Eligibilty:
- Open primarily to 3rd to 5th-year architecture students across India.
- Students must be enrolled in recognized colleges or institutions.
- Teams must have 2 to 4 members.
- At least one team member must be pursuing Architecture/B.Arch.
- Team members may belong to the same or different institutions/states.

- Regional Awards
- 1st Prize: ₹50,000 group prize
- 2nd Prize: ₹30,000 group prize
- 3rd Prize: ₹20,000 group prize
- National Finale
- 1st Prize: ₹1,00,000 group prize + ₹1,00,000 scholarship toward college fees for each team member
- 2nd Prize: ₹50,000 group prize + ₹75,000 scholarship for each team member
- 3rd Prize: ₹30,000 group prize + ₹50,000 scholarship for each team member
- Special Prize: ₹30,000
- Finalists also receive exposure to leading architects and industry professionals and an opportunity to visit AIS manufacturing facilities.
