📌About the Event
Amazon ML Challenge 2026 is a machine learning competition by Amazon that gives engineering students across India an opportunity to work with an Amazon dataset and solve a real-world machine learning problem. Participants compete in teams, build and submit an ML solution within a 72-hour challenge, and get the opportunity to showcase their work to Amazon scientists. The competition also offers cash prizes, AWS credits, certificates, Amazon merchandise, and potential Pre-Placement Interviews (PPIs) for the Applied Scientist Intern role at Amazon.

- Mode of Conduct: Online
- Competition Format: Two-stage competition
- Team Size: 3–4 members
- Stage 1: Registration and team formation
- Stage 2: 72-hour ML Hackathon
- Participants receive the problem statement and dataset on Day 1 of the ML challenge.
- Teams must develop and submit their machine learning solutions by Day 3.
- Each team must submit a 1–2 page document explaining its approach.

- ML Challenge: 25 September 2026, 9:00 AM IST – 27 September 2026, 9:00 PM IST
- ML Challenge Results / Top 50 Announcement: 2 October 2026
- Grand Finale: 7 October 2026, 10:00 AM–3:00 PM IST
🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Eligibilty:
- Open to students pursuing PhD, M.E., M.Tech., M.S., MS by Research, B.E. or B.Tech. full-time programmes.
- Participants must be studying at engineering campuses in India.
- Eligible participants must belong to the 2027 or 2028 graduating batches.
- Participants must form a team of 3–4 members.
- Every team must have a team leader.
- Students from different colleges can form a team.
- Each participant can be part of only one team.

- Winner: ₹1,00,000 + certificate + goodies
- First Runner-Up: ₹75,000 + certificate + goodies
- Second Runner-Up: ₹50,000 + certificate + goodies
