📋 The Strategic Problem Statements
Teams must register and solve one of the two heavily defined ecosystem challenges:
🧸 Problem Statement 1: Interactive Mechanical Handicraft Toys
- The Objective: Design innovative mechanical toys deeply inspired by Andhra Pradesh’s iconic handicraft traditions specifically Etikoppaka toys, Kondapalli toys, and Raja Rani dolls.
- Technical Integration: Incorporate non-electronic, interactive mechanical elements such as gears, internal springs, rotational movements, and kinetic linkages.
- Expected Deliverables: * A 100% child-safe physical prototype utilizing biodegradable, non-toxic materials.
- Demonstrable kinetic or mechanical movement.
- A comprehensive structural cost estimation sheet for mass commercial manufacturing.
👜 Problem Statement 2: Sustainable Food-Grade Handwoven Bags
- The Objective: Engineer innovative handwoven bags utilizing natural fibers (jute, cotton, and banana fiber) to replace single-use plastic packaging with a beautiful, functional, and eco-friendly alternative.
- Technical Integration: The carrier must be structural, washable, entirely reusable, and structurally leak-proof.
- Expected Deliverables:
- A physical prototype of a leak-proof, washable woven bag configuration.
- Formal proof of concept or certification routing for food-grade safety compliance.
- A clear scalability roadmap detailing material sourcing and artisan production clusters.
