The Art for Impact Challenge is a global creative initiative organized by The Earth Prize in collaboration with Sycomore and Gaia Changemaker Education.
The challenge encourages students, educators, and young artists to use creative expression to deepen their personal connection with nature, raise environmental awareness, and spark positive eco-action within their communities and the wider world.

- Target Audience: Open to individual students, educators, and entire school classes

🎯 Impact Journeys (Participation Levels)
Participants can choose from three tailored levels based on the intended reach of their creative project:
- Level 1: Personal Development (Focus: Self)Deepen your personal bond with the planet through nature journaling, photography walks, painting local ecosystems, composing nature-inspired music, or creating natural dyes.
- Level 2: My Community (Focus: Local Impact)Inspire family, friends, or school communities by facilitating art sessions, building sculptures from recycled waste, creating public murals, or organizing school exhibitions.
- Level 3: The Wider World (Focus: Global & Systemic Impact)Drive broader environmental advocacy through public art installations, social media campaigns, community clean-up art initiatives, or collaborations with local governments and NGOs.
🎨 Submission Requirements & Creative Guidelines
Acceptable Creative Formats
- Visual & Applied Arts: Paintings, sculptures from recycled waste, photography, natural dye projects, eco-friendly fashion/bags, seed-inspired artwork.
- Performing & Written Arts: Poetry, prose, musical compositions, dance, or theatrical pieces recorded outdoors to highlight local natural environments.
Technical & Submission Specifications
- Allowed File Formats:
.PNG,.JPG,.MP4, or written text documents (.PDF/.DOCX). - Community Sharing: Participants can share work on the official Discord community and social media platforms before submitting the final project link via the official submission form.
💰 Recognition & Benefits
- Printable Participation Certificate: Issued to all registered participants upon project submission.
- Global Media Feature: Top creative entries will be showcased across Sycomore’s official website and international social media channels.
- Community Connection: Opportunities to engage in supplemental workshops, special events, and the Gaia Changemakers Art for Impact Week.
