📌 About the Program
The Ashoka Mathematics Challenge (AMC) is a quantitative assessment designed for applicants seeking to pursue undergraduate majors in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics at Ashoka University.
Unlike standard memory-based exams, the AMC evaluates conceptual mathematical understanding, logical reasoning, and problem-solving adaptability based on the Class XI and XII curriculum.

- Registration Deadline: August 12, 2026
- Test Date: August 23, 2026
- Test Format: Computer-based in-person test at designated AMC test centers
- Total Duration: 120 minutes (30-min On-the-Spot Essay + 90-min AMC)
- Admissions Pathway: Offered as a special early admissions round on August 23, 2026, as well as in subsequent regular admissions rounds.

Test Format
- On-the-Spot Essay (OSE): 30 minutes (Mandatory for all pathways).
- Ashoka Mathematics Challenge (AMC): 90 minutes (Focuses on Class XI & XII Math syllabus, conceptual depth, and logical reasoning).
- Note: Applicants must choose either the AMC or the Ashoka Aptitude Assessment (AAA); taking both is not permitted.
