📌 About the Event
The Audi Environmental Foundation, a subsidiary of AUDI AG, has partnered with One Young World to select 10 inspiring young leaders from across the globe. This fully funded scholarship covers all expenses for selected changemakers to attend the One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa, to collaborate on tackling the global climate crisis.
ℹ️ SCHOLARSHIP OVERVIEW
- Host Organizations: Audi Environmental Foundation & One Young World (OYW).
- Summit Dates: November 3 – 6, 2026 (Travel/Participation window: November 1 – 7, 2026).
- Cohort Size: 10 Scholars globally.
🎯 FOCUS & ELIGIBLE WORK AREAS
The selection committee targets young trailblazers actively driving impact in any of the following domains:
- Tech Innovation: Deploying unique technologies to curb pollution and carbon footprints.
- Climate Education: Broadening public access to environmental awareness and sustainable practices.
- Climate Equity: Innovating or advocating for environmental justice.
- Community Resilience: Empowering frontline, vulnerable communities against climate impacts.
- Ecosystem Preservation: Driving marine revitalization or preventing land degradation.
🏆 WHAT THE SCHOLARSHIP COVERS
Selected delegates receive a fully funded sponsorship package, including:
- Summit Access: Full delegate pass to the One Young World Summit 2026.
- Travel: Fully covered round-trip flights to and from Cape Town.
- Accommodation: Hotel stay during the summit timeline (November 1 – 7).
- Catering: All meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included during the event.
- Ground Transit: Local transportation between the summit venues and accommodations.
👥 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Age Bracket: 18 – 30 years old at the time of the summit. (Applicants over 30 are considered if they demonstrate exceptional personal impact; strictly no entries under 18).
- Nationality: Open to citizens of all countries globally.
- Commitment: Must have the ability to attend the summit fully in-person in South Africa.
- Track Record: Proven leadership capability alongside an innovative, scalable solution to an environmental bottleneck.
