📌About the Event

Bharat Builds Tour 2026 is a nationwide student hackathon series organized by WeMakeDevs in collaboration with AWS Builder Center. The six-stop tour encourages university students across India to build practical technology projects using AWS and open-source tools. Participants can compete online or at physical tour locations, with prizes worth ₹1 crore across the series and select projects getting an opportunity for fast-track interviews with Amazon.

• Type: Student hackathon / technology competition
• Mode: Hybrid – online participation across India + in-person events at selected cities.
• The tour consists of 6 hackathons across India.
• One registration covers all six stops; participants check in separately when each hackathon opens.
• Students can participate solo or in teams of up to 4 members.
• The first hackathon, First Commit, is being hosted online across India with an offline edition in Bengaluru.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Eligibilty:
• Open to university students across India.
• Participants must be 18 years or older to register independently.
• A WeMakeDevs account and AWS Builder Center profile are mandatory.
• Student status must be verified through the AWS Builder Center profile.
• Both online and offline participants are eligible for judging and prizes.
• Teams can have 1–4 members.
