🧬 Architectural Requirements: What to Build
1. Patient Interface (Mobile-First Optimization Mandatory)
- Search Node: Engine to query and filter healthcare providers by specialization and location.
- Dynamic Profiles: Deep-dives displaying Name, Specialization, Consultation Fees, and a rolling 7-day availability grid.
- Booking Funnel: Low-friction form collecting Name, Age, and Phone Number that issues a unique, immutable Booking ID upon success.
- Personal Health Summary Matrix: Persistent profile blocks showing Blood Group, Known Medical Conditions, and Current Medications.
2. Doctor Administration Portal (Secure Cloud Desktop Layout)
- Secure Auth Gate: Protected login terminal for verified healthcare providers.
- Daily Workflow Dashboard: Real-time stream of today’s appointments detailing patient metadata alongside their pre-loaded Personal Health Summary.
- Clinical Update Module: Text records to input Diagnosis Notes and digital prescriptions post-consultation.
- Slot Allocation Engine: Admin tools to dynamically block out dates or specific time windows for leaves and holidays. Blocked windows must instantly vanish from the client-side booking view.
🛡️ Critical Engineering Benchmarks: The Three Questions
Your system architecture must explicitly prove these three capabilities during the evaluation phase:
- Speed Benchmark: Can a patient search, view slots, and complete a valid booking on a mobile screen in under 2 minutes?
- Data Availability: Can a doctor instantly view their agenda and update health records securely during active clinic hours?
- Concurrency Guardrails: If two users hit the exact same slot button simultaneously, does your database layer execute an isolated transaction that succeeds for one and gracefully re-routes the other?
