BUILD with AI - Code for CommunitiesVizag
Google Developers
๐ About the Event
The Build with AI: Code for Communities Pre-Hackathon Workshop is an intensive, hands-on technical boot camp hosted by GDG Vizag.
This local in-person workshop serves as the definitive staging ground and engineering prep track for the upcoming virtual national hackathon of the same name. Directed by Google Cloud, the program helps developers bypass entry barriers by mastering developer environments like Google AI Studio and the Antigravity framework. Participants will learn to architect software systems that directly address real-world governance gaps and infrastructure issues submitted by sitting Members of Parliament (MPs).
๐ Critical Timelines & Infrastructure Gates
- Workshop Date: Sunday, July 5, 2026 [Happening in 3 Days]
- Workshop Execution Window: 9:00 AM โ 5:00 PM IST
- Physical Venue Hub: To Be Announced (TBA), Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh โ 530041, India.
- Workshop Seat Allocation: 122 developers have currently claimed RSVP slots.
- Direct Workshop Registration Form: Official Vizag Attendance Intake Form
๐ Core Workshop Objectives & Engineering Mentorship
The full-day curriculum focuses on clearing technical roadblocks, debugging configurations, and preparing teams for prototype deployment:
- Technology Stack Deep Dive: Real-time optimization walkthroughs using Google AI Studio API connections, context caching parameters, and the Antigravity integration ecosystem.
- In-Person Expert Auditing: One-on-one solution prototyping support, code layout reviews, and system architecture mapping under the guidance of Google Developer Experts (GDEs).
๐๏ธ The Main Virtual Hackathon Blueprint
The workshop fully aligns with the rules, timelines, and prize pipelines of the central national-tier challenge:
- Team Scaling Bounds: Open to all developers, AI/ML practitioners, students, and tech professionals across India. Roster cap is Up to 4 members per team.
- Pricing Tier: 100% Free / Zero-Cost Entry.
- Real-World Implementation & Pilot Deployment: Winning MVPs will bypass the theoretical stage to be launched as active, funded pilot operations inside actual legislative constituencies, local districts, and Primary Health Centres (PHCs) in partnership with MP offices.
- The Grand Finale Arena: Shortlisted national engineering teams will fly to New Delhi to pitch their running code infrastructures directly to the specific Members of Parliament who authored the tracks.
๐๏ธ The 4 Core MP Challenge Tracks
Teams at the workshop will choose one of four official municipal tracks to develop their AI applications:
- Smart Health (Healthcare Track): Real-time AI orchestration engines built for Community Health Centres (CHCs) and PHCs to manage predictive medical stock distribution, balance patient volume spikes, track bed allocations, and audit staff attendance matrices.
- Clean Air & Clear Streets (Environmental Track): Building neighborhood-level geospatial telemetry maps capable of rendering 24-hour predictive air quality degradation models and executing automated alerts to municipal sanitation departments.
- Kisan Alert (Agricultural Track): Designing multi-lingual voice and SMS crop advisory layers utilizing Indic language models to serve local farmers with localized crop recommendations and automated computer vision plant disease diagnostics.
- People’s Priorities (Constituency Planning Track): Creating multi-lingual data processing gateways that ingest unstructured citizen submissions, logs, and complaints, converting them into ranked, evidence-based regional development metrics for parliamentary budget planners.
๐ Financial Rewards & Developer Perks
- Cash Stack Matrix: โน2,50,000 allocated per challenge track, accumulating to a total cash pool of โน10,00,000.
- Production Cloud Credits: High-performing development teams will be allocated Google Cloud credit vouchers to maintain live server hosting, infrastructure nodes, and database deployments.
