📌About the Event
The Climate Innovators Challenge for Youth 2.0, also known as CLICY 2.0, is a youth climate innovation programme organised by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) in collaboration with Harit by HCLFoundation. The challenge encourages college students across Karnataka to identify environmental problems in their communities and develop practical, technology-driven climate solutions. Through workshops, expert mentorship, exposure visits and proof-of-concept development, participants can transform their ideas into solutions with real-world impact.

- Objective: To help young innovators develop practical, scalable and technology-enabled solutions for local climate and environmental challenges.
- Mode of conduct: Hybrid the programme includes online expression of interest and registration, online expert sessions, and offline activities such as bootcamps, exposure visits and mentoring programmes in Karnataka.
- Geographical focus: College and university students studying across Karnataka.
- Participation format: Students must participate in teams of three to five members.

- NextGen Climate Confluence: 9 October 2026
- CLICY Bootcamp: 18–20 November 2026 at the TERI Southern Regional Centre.
🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Eligible participants: College and university students studying in Karnataka.
- Academic discipline: Students from different academic backgrounds may apply; no specific stream restriction is mentioned on the official portal.
- Team requirement: Participants should form a team of three to five students.
- Location requirement: The current edition is primarily intended for students enrolled in institutions across Karnataka.
- Interest area: Teams should be interested in climate action, sustainability, technology, innovation or solving community level environmental problems.
