Code4Nature Challenge 2026 is a national innovation and coding competition that invites participants to build practical, technology-driven solutions for environmental sustainability. Teams can develop digital tools addressing climate resilience, water security, land and forest restoration, biodiversity conservation, and local governance. The challenge particularly encourages community-centric solutions that support villages, ecosystems, and grassroots institutions.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Eligibilty:
- Participants must be Indian citizens aged 18 years or above.
- Participation is allowed only in teams of 2–4 members.
- Interdisciplinary and diverse teams are encouraged.
- Teams must submit a project proposal that meets the challenge guidelines to qualify for shortlisting.
- Submissions must be original and should not copy existing products.
- External datasets, software or code must be properly documented with their sources and licensing terms.
- Submitted code, datasets and multimedia content must use a CC-BY or CC-BY-NC licence.
- Preference will be given to solutions using open data, free and open-source software, and documented code.

- First prize: ₹1,00,000
- Second prize: ₹50,000
- Third prize: ₹25,000
- E-certificates for all teams completing the final submission.
