📌About the Event

Criminologia E Cinema 2026 brings together criminology and cinema through its Short Film Making (SFM) Competition. Participants are invited to create original short films exploring crime, criminal justice, criminal behaviour, victims, or related social issues through creative storytelling and filmmaking. The best entries will be screened at the fourth edition of Criminologia E Cinema at the National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Eligibilty:
• Open to film enthusiasts and budding filmmakers across India.
• Team Size: Maximum 10 members can be credited as film owners; there is no stated limit on other contributors.
• Originality: Films must be created specifically for the competition and should not have been previously uploaded on any platform.
• Theme: Entries should creatively explore crime, criminal justice or related social issues.
• Runtime: Maximum 12 minutes, including credits.
• Format: Submit the film as an HD MP4 in 16:9 landscape format.
• Subtitles: English subtitles are mandatory for films in other languages.
