Data Governance for Inclusive Digital & AI Futures is a free online instructor-led course by ITU Academy, UNDP, and UNESCO. It is designed to help policymakers and practitioners understand how strong data governance frameworks can support inclusive, secure, rights-based digital transformation and responsible use of AI systems. This is more of a global training programme than a prize-based competition.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Target Participants: Government officials, policymakers, and technical experts working in digital transformation, data governance, ICT policy, or related domains
- Relevant Departments: Best suited for people from ICT ministries, planning, finance, innovation, data protection authorities, digital governance agencies, and multilateral/regional institutions
- Experience Required: Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience working with digital technology or data
- Education Requirement: Applicants should have an undergraduate degree in a relevant field or 3 additional years of relevant experience if they do not have a university degree
- Language Requirement: Applicants should have fluent English; live translated captions will be available through Zoom
- Application Requirement: Applicants must complete the application questionnaire, provide motivation, and attach an updated CV
- Selection Process: Participants will be selected by the course organizers based on entry requirements, application answers, motivation, and available seats
- Limited Seats: The course is limited to 35 participants.
