Duo Leveling is an innovative, multi stage coding marathon organized by Ramco Institute of Technology. This event simulates a “Dungeon Progression” where teammates (Hunters) must alternate solving problems across 7 increasingly difficult levels. The catch? Hunters are isolated and can only communicate through specific hints earned by clearing levels. It aims to test not just individual coding proficiency in Python, Java, or C++, but also the ability to interpret a teammate’s logic under strict constraints. The journey culminates in the “Monarch Challenge,” a high stakes algorithmic repair mission.

🎯 What You Will Do
- Level 1 to 7 Progression: Hunter A solves Level 1, receives a hint, and passes it to Hunter B to solve Level 2. This alternating cycle continues through Level 7.
- Restricted Comms: You cannot talk freely. Communication is strictly limited to the hints provided by the system after clearing a level.
- Hunter Gate: Solve a specific system challenge to “unlock” a brief discussion window with your teammate.
- The Monarch Challenge: In the final dungeon, analyze a complex, broken algorithm and repair it into an optimized, working solution.
- Language Flexibility: Utilize Python, Java, C, or C++ to clear the levels.
📦 Resources and Support Available
- Infrastructure: High performance systems in the Python Lab with all required compilers.
- Coordination: Student Incharge Mahesh Boopathi K and the coordinator team (Akash, Manojkumar, Anushree, and Suganya) will manage the “Hint Passing” logistics.
