📌About the Event
The ET AI Hackathon 2026: Agentic Edition, presented by Accenture in collaboration with The Economic Times, is a national-level AI innovation challenge for experienced working professionals. The competition focuses on building Agentic AI solutions for real-world enterprise problems, encouraging participants to create intelligent systems that can reason, plan, act, and collaborate while keeping human oversight at the centre. Participants compete through technical assessment, prototype development, and a national virtual finale.

- Mode: Online / Virtual.
- Format: Multi-phase national AI hackathon.
- Team size: Individual participation or teams of 1–4 members.
- Phase 1 – Technical Assessment: Participants take an AI-proctored online assessment of 30 MCQs in 30 minutes, testing AI concepts and problem-solving skills.
- Phase 2 – Build Sprint: Shortlisted teams select an enterprise problem statement and develop an AI-powered working prototype.
📅 Important Dates
- Registration deadline: 20 September 2026, 11:59 PM IST.
- Problem statements revealed: 23 September 2026.
- Prototype submission deadline: 11 October 2026.
- Virtual Grand Finale: 2 November 2026
🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Eligibilty:
- Open exclusively to working professionals with 3+ years of professional experience.
- Every member of a participating team must satisfy the eligibility requirement.
- Candidates from all educational backgrounds can participate.
- Participants should have knowledge or hands-on experience in Agentic AI and strong expertise in AI, data, software engineering, or related technologies.
- Relevant profiles include AI/ML engineers, developers, solution architects, product managers, consultants, data engineers, platform engineers, and technology strategists.
- Participation is allowed individually or in teams of 1–4 members.
🏆 Benefits for the Participants
- Total prize pool: ₹2,00,000.
- Grand Champion: ₹1,00,000 per team.
- First Runner-Up: ₹60,000 per team.
- Second Runner-Up: ₹40,000 per team.
- Applicable TDS will be deducted from prize money.
