📌About the Event

The 1st FairLex × Sanely Legal National Arbitration Moot Court Competition 2026 is a national-level online moot court competition organized by FairLex in collaboration with Sanely Legal. The competition is designed to provide law students across India with an opportunity to strengthen their legal research, oral advocacy, memorial drafting and argumentation skills.
Focused on Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), the competition challenges participants to analyze complex legal disputes, prepare written memorials and present arguments before a simulated arbitral tribunal. The moot proposition explores contemporary arbitration issues, including arbitrator independence, limitation, prolongation costs and judicial powers concerning arbitral awards.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Eligibilty:
• Open to students enrolled in a recognized law school or university in India.
• Students pursuing a 3-year LL.B. or 5-year integrated LL.B. programme are eligible.
• Each team must consist of a minimum of two and a maximum of three members.
• The recommended team composition is two speakers and one researcher.
• Cross-institutional teams are permitted.
• Each institution can register a maximum of three teams.
