📌About the Event
The FAO eLearning Academy Global Youth Contest 2026: From Learning to Impact is an international contest for young learners and professionals who have used FAO eLearning Academy courses to build knowledge, skills, careers, studies, or community-level impact. Participants must submit a short written impact story explaining how FAO learning helped them turn knowledge into action. Three winners will receive a fully funded trip to Rome, Italy, to attend the World Food Forum 2026.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Eligibility:
- Open to young people aged 18–35 years
- Applicants can be from any country or region
- Participants must be registered learners of the FAO eLearning Academy
- Applicants must have completed FAO eLearning Academy courses
- Applicants must have obtained certified digital badges from the FAO eLearning Academy
- Selected winners must hold a passport valid until at least April 2027.
- Rules:
- Submit an online application form
- Use the same email address as your FAO eLearning Academy account for badge verification
- Provide a complete and accurate list of earned digital badges
- Submit a written impact story of up to 4,000 characters
- Only one application per participant is allowed
- Stories must be written in English
- Use of AI tools to generate responses is strictly prohibited and can lead to immediate disqualification
🏆 Benefits for the Participants
- Top 3 winners will be selected
- Each winner will receive a fully funded trip to Rome, Italy
- Winners will attend the World Food Forum 2026 from 12–15 October 2026
- Travel and participation costs will be covered
- Winners will be invited for a video interview
- Their stories may be featured on:
- FAO eLearning Academy website
- YouTube FAO Education Hub
- FAO social media channels
- The contest gives young learners global visibility and recognition for using learning to create real-world impact.
