FAR AWAY Hackathon 2026
Parul University
🧠 About the Events
FAR AWAY Hackathon 2026 is an elite international student building marathon. This is far from your average local code sprint designed explicitly for young innovators, builders, and visionaries, it challenges teams to develop actionable, open-innovation prototypes that solve critical structural global friction points. The stakes are incredibly high, transitioning from a remote setup all the way to a live, physical final showdown in Tokyo.

🔥 Why Participate?
- A Ticket to Tokyo: This is your rare, fully-funded gateway to take an abstract software or hardware concept and pitch it live inside an elite Japanese tech ecosystem.
- Total Tool Freedom: There are zero restrictive guardrails on your engineering stack. You can utilize any custom programming frameworks, advanced open-source libraries, or newly released agentic AI architectures.
- Grassroots Onboarding: Beginner-friendly layout. You don’t need a polished portfolio of past hackathon wins—just a highly scalable strategy and the drive to build.
⚖️ Rules & Eligibility
- Age Cap: Strictly limited to youth and students between 15 and 25 years old.
- Originality Check: Systems must be generated cleanly within the designated Round 1 time window. Pre-compiled code portfolios or white-labeled applications will face instant disqualification.
- Hybrid Attendance: Teams applying must ensure they have valid structural travel documentation (like passports) ready to go, as transitioning past the mid-June Delhi round requires immediate international flight processing.
