📌About the Event
The First International Client Counselling Competition 2026 is a legal skills competition organised by MANUU Law School, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad. The competition simulates a real-life lawyer–client consultation in which participating teams must interview a client, understand the factual and legal issues involved, evaluate possible solutions and provide clear, structured legal advice.
The event aims to help law students develop practical skills such as client interviewing, active listening, legal analysis, ethical reasoning, strategic thinking, teamwork and professional communication. The competition will be conducted through online preliminary rounds followed by offline advanced rounds at the MANUU campus in Hyderabad.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Who can participate:
- Students enrolled in a recognised three-year or five-year LL.B. degree programme are eligible to participate.
- Participants must represent a recognised university, law school or college.
- Each team must consist of exactly two participants.
- The two team members will participate as Counsel 1 and Counsel 2.
- Only one team from each institution is permitted.
- A maximum of 20 teams will initially be selected.
- Team selection will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Although the event is titled an international competition, the published eligibility information does not specify separate conditions for international institutions or overseas students. Interested international teams should confirm their eligibility directly with the organisers before registering.
