Flipkart GRiD 8.0 is the latest edition of India’s flagship premier engineering challenge, designed to source, evaluate, and fast-track elite technical talent across the country. Operating as a multi-stage competitive crucible, GRiD allows engineering students to step out of textbook theory and architect functional code bases, build machine learning pipelines, and solve production-scale distributed systems challenges inspired by real-world e-commerce bottlenecks.
The competition features three independent specialized tracks:
- Software Development Track: Focused on core computer science fundamentals, low-level and high-level system design (LLD/HLD), concurrency, database optimization, and scalable backend architectures.
- AI Engineering Track: Evaluating capabilities in training, fine-tuning, and deploying modern machine learning pipelines, Large Language Models (LLMs), Computer Vision, and natural language interfaces.
- Data Science Track: Testing mathematical proficiency, predictive modeling, statistical inference, feature engineering, and big data analysis.
