📌About the Event

The Franklin Templeton National Mutual Fund Olympiad 2026 – Season 2 is a nationwide financial literacy competition designed to help college students develop practical knowledge of mutual funds, investing, financial planning and wealth creation. Organised through the FinX learning ecosystem, the Olympiad combines online assessments, live quizzes, case studies and investment-focused challenges. Season 2 aims to engage approximately 50,000 students from 1,000 colleges across India, following an inaugural edition that attracted over 10,000 students from more than 400 colleges. Groww is the knowledge partner, while the initiative is supported by the BFSI Sector Skill Council of India and FPA Edutech.

• Participation: Individual student registration through participating or empanelled colleges
• Mode of conduct: Hybrid, with online qualifying rounds and live advanced rounds
  • Level 1: AI-proctored online multiple-choice quiz
  • Level 2: AI-proctored online advanced multiple-choice quiz
  • Level 3 – Zonal Round: Live quiz
• Grand Finale: Live quiz featuring simulations and case studies at the BSE Convention Hall in Mumbai
• Coverage: Mutual funds, ETFs, portfolio management services, alternative investment funds, personal finance, investment fundamentals, financial planning and wealth creation
• Study support: Registered participants will receive reference resources and sample test papers after registrations close.
• Competition objective: To strengthen students’ financial awareness, investment skills, practical money-management knowledge and career readiness for the BFSI sector.

• Postgraduate students from recognised colleges or universities can participate.
• Students from all academic streams are eligible.
• Participants must register through a college listed on the Olympiad portal.
• Students whose college is not listed may request their institution to complete the college onboarding process.
• The competition is open to eligible students from colleges across India.
