The Gen AI Academy APAC (Cohort 2) is an elite, multi-phased deep-tech enterprise training and innovation incubator running across the Asia-Pacific region. Moving past simple prompt tricks and isolated chatbots, Cohort 2 focuses completely on Unified Data Analytics & Intelligence.
The program trains developers and data teams to build autonomous data agents powered by Google Cloud. These agents remove the friction of manually writing SQL and building static dashboards, shifting instead to natural-language data discovery and real-time, agent-driven insights across massive enterprise data pools.

- Cohort Duration: April 2026 – June 2026
- Current Operational Phase: Active Learning Academy running alongside hands-on codelab evaluations, moving swiftly toward the high-stakes capstone hackathon phase in June.
- Format: Online-First APAC Regional Framework (Spanning over 12+ countries with over 192K+ developers graduated from Cohort 1).
🚀 Program Structure: The Two-Part Journey
The cohort architecture is strictly split into two progressive phases to ensure deep technical capability before code deployment:
- 01 Academy (Learning & Architecture): Participants complete structured on-demand modules, attend instructor-led live workshops, deploy test code in guided codelabs, and clear hard multiple-choice verification quizzes.
- 02 Hackathon (The Capstone Tournament): A cohort-wide competitive hackathon where teams build and ship fully functional, autonomous analytics agents under the direct review of Google Cloud experts.

Enrollees must align themselves with one of three primary engineering tracks, leveraging core Google Cloud tools like BigQuery, Vertex AI, Spark, and the Agent Development Kit (ADK):
💼 Professional Track 1: Conversational Analytics
- Core Goal: Master data ingestion, transformation, and governance pipelines.
- Featured Focus: Building conversational agents directly inside BigQuery to allow non-technical enterprise users to parse datasets via natural language.
🔬 Professional Track 2: AI-Assisted Data Science
- Core Goal: Building highly intelligent, multimodal applications and multi-data-source analytical layers.
- Featured Focus: AI-Assisted Data Science with BigQuery, deploying models that reason seamlessly across unstructured data, image/text tables, and traditional relational databases.
🎓 Student Track: ADK Crash Course (Beginner to Expert)
- Core Goal: Designed specifically for school and university students with zero legacy database experience to master agentic engineering from the ground up.
- Featured Focus: Building AI Agents with ADK. Progresses cleanly from spinning up basic single-agent loops to configuring complex, collaborative multi-agent orchestration systems.
