The GEV Memorial Merit Scholarship for Law Students 2026-27 is a merit-cum-means scholarship initiative by the GEV Scholarship Fund Trust. Established in memory of the Late Dr. Goolam E. Vahanvati (13th Attorney General of India), the program aims to empower economically disadvantaged students to pursue legal education at premier law institutes in India.

👥 Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen.
- Academic Enrolment:
- Currently enrolled in any year of an LL.B. (3-year or 5-year integrated) or LL.M. degree course at a recognized Indian law institute.
- OR appearing/applied for major law entrance examinations (e.g., CLAT, LSAT-India, AILET, or state-level CETs).
- Academic Performance: Minimum 60% marks in Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations.
- Family Income: Total annual family income from all sources must not exceed ₹10,00,000 (10 Lakhs).
- Mentorship Agreement: Must be willing to sign up for the scholarship fund’s annual mentorship program to give back by guiding future batches.

- Financial Assistance: Ranges from ₹50,000 to ₹2,00,000 per year per scholar to cover tuition fees and related academic expenses.

- Performance Renewal: Continuation or subsequent installments are based on the scholar’s ongoing academic record.
