The Gyanodaya Case Writing Competition 2026 is an international case-writing competition organized by Gyanodaya, the Centre for Pedagogical Innovation and Publishing at the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM Kozhikode). The competition invites participants to develop original, India-focused teaching cases based on real organizations, individuals and managerial dilemmas. Submissions must include a separate teaching note and meet the organizer’s academic, citation and originality requirements.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Open to faculty members, industry professionals, research scholars, PhD students, MBA students and academic staff.
- Cases must be original, unpublished and based on real organizations, individuals and events.
- Each case must be submitted with a separate teaching note.
- Primary cases require consent from the focal organization; library cases require proper citations.
- Submissions must follow Gyanodaya’s prescribed formats, referencing guidelines and originality requirements.
🏆 Benefits for the Participants
- First Prize: ₹50,000 for one winning case.
- Second Prize: ₹25,000 each for three winning cases.
- Third Prize: ₹15,000 each for six winning cases.
- Certificates for all ten prize-winning cases.
- Certificate of Merit for selected high-quality submissions that do not win a prize.
- Opportunity for winning cases and teaching notes to be considered for publication by Gyanodaya, subject to review.
