Hack-The-Matrix Hackathon
Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology
📌 About the Event
Hack-The-Matrix Hackathon is a high-octane, 24-hour physical engineering sprint hosted as a premier flagship event under TECHNIDHI ’26 the Annual Student-Led Tech Fest of Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology (SNIST).
Jointly organized by the AI Club and The Infinitix Club, this hackathon focuses completely on real-world implementation over vague conceptual pitches. It challenges participants to bypass basic API wrapping and chat scripts to engineer highly functional autonomous networks, multi-modal data processing systems, and deep computational predictive pipelines.
📅 Critical Timelines & Operations
- Registration Deadline: July 3, 2026
- Hackathon Timeline: July 10, 2026 – July 11, 2026
- Physical Venue Hub: SNIST CET 3 LAB, Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology, Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
- Double Registration Rule: Registration is legally valid only if completed on the official event portal and mirrored natively on their platform partner, Devnovate. Both forms must be completed to clear verification.

⏱️ Technical Program & Event Flow
- Day 0 (July 9) | Preparatory AI Pre-Workshop: A free hands-on technical boot camp held at the SNIST campus to walk teams through foundational model orchestration, sandbox integrations, and tool chains.
- Day 1 (July 10) | Kickoff & Continuous Sprint: Event inauguration, mandatory technical briefing, system environment checks, and the launch of the 24-hour overnight code marathon.
- Day 2 (July 11) | Evaluation & Ceremony: Extended morning development, final repository submission, live hardware project demonstrations to the judging panels, data verification, and the grand closing awards ceremony.
🏗️ Targeted Core Build Tracks
Participants are free to design any problem statement of their choosing, provided the resulting system aligns directly with the strict technical bounds of one of the 4 defined tracks:
- AI Agents: Focuses on autonomous execution loops, multi-step planning, logical reasoning, and environment tools. Note: Standard chatbots or predefined prompt wrappers will face immediate point deductions.
- Predictive Analytics: Building clean data pipelines, computing regression or classification metrics, and generating real mathematical predictions on complex data sets.
- Computer Vision: Real-time object detection, segmentation tracking, dynamic video/image interpretation, and spatial data extraction.
- Multimodal AI Systems: Applications that concurrently parse, analyze, and map correlations across 2 or more distinct data modalities (e.g., combining live audio data streams with textual inputs or synchronized video formats).
- Special Track Alert: An exclusive Platform Sponsor Special Track with separate problem statements and rewards will be revealed live at kickoff.
🏆 Prize Pools & Evaluation Perks
- Total Combined Pool: Worth ₹1,50,000 in value.
- Award Allocation: Cash bounties awarded across the Overall Podium (1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place) alongside distinct Track-Wise Winners.
- Perks: Every verified participant walks away with dedicated sponsor goodies, physical product merchandise, and a formal achievement Certificate.
- Innovation Check: Every build undergoes an early-stage validation pass by judges to flag plagiarized templates or unoriginal projects, ensuring absolute evaluation fairness.
