📌About the Event

HackNexus’26 is a national-level online hackathon organised by Droidecks for college and university students across India. Participants compete in teams to develop technology-driven solutions for challenges in AI, agriculture, accessibility, smart cities, healthcare, sustainability, FinTech and EdTech. The hackathon includes an idea-submission round, a solution-building phase and a live jury presentation.

  • Round 1: PPT and project abstract submission
  • Round 2: Build, deploy and demonstrate the shortlisted solution
  • Round 3: Live project demonstration, technical discussion and jury Q&A through Google Meet or Zoom
• Participants can choose from predefined problem statements or submit a solution under the Open Innovation track.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Eligibilty:
• Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from colleges and universities across India.
• Teams must consist of 2–4 members.
• Interdisciplinary teams involving developers, designers, data scientists and business students are encouraged.
• Each team must select an official problem statement or participate under the Open Innovation category.
• Round 1 presentations must contain a maximum of 8–9 slides.
• Shortlisted teams must submit a source-code repository, hosted project link, four-to-five-minute demo video, documentation and impact statement.
• Finalists must present a working demonstration and answer technical questions before the jury.
• Entries will be assessed on innovation, problem understanding, technical implementation, functionality, user experience, scalability, real-world impact, presentation quality and future potential.
