📌About the Event

HACKVIZ 2K26 is a 24-hour state-level intercollegiate hardware hackathon where undergraduate teams develop functional prototypes for real-world challenges. Participants can work across areas such as MedTech, sustainability, climate action, women’s safety, smart infrastructure, agriculture and environmental conservation. The event includes idea screening, prototype development, multiple evaluations and a final live demonstration.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Eligibilty:
• Open to undergraduate students from all academic years.
• Each team must contain exactly three students from the same institution.
• Students from different departments of the same institution may form a team.
• Inter-college teams and faculty mentors are not permitted.
• Teams must select one official problem statement and develop the solution during the hackathon.
• Pre-built projects, plagiarism, copied code and purchased solutions will result in disqualification.
• AI tools may assist development, but participants must understand and explain all AI-generated work.
• Teams must submit source code, a maximum 10-slide PPT and a working prototype or live demonstration.
• Evaluation: Innovation and creativity – 20%; problem identification and SDG alignment – 15%; technical implementation – 20%; demonstration – 25%; social impact – 10%; presentation – 10%.
