Hara Bhara Swaraj – Rise & Act 2026 is a national-level case study competition focused on resilient initiatives for social, environmental, and community action. The competition encourages students and young researchers to document successful community-led solutions or propose practical interventions for unresolved environmental and social problems. It is being organised to commemorate the 82nd birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Shri Rajiv Gandhi and promote youth participation in sustainability, civic action, and grassroots development.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Who can participate:
- The competition is open to undergraduate students studying at colleges or universities in India.
- Postgraduate students are eligible to participate.
- PhD students and research scholars may also submit entries.
- Participants may enter individually or form a team of a maximum of two members.
- Students from any academic discipline may participate, provided their submission relates to the competition’s social, environmental, or community-action theme.

- First Prize: ₹50,000
- Second Prize: ₹30,000
- Third Prize: ₹20,000
- Seven Consolation Prizes: ₹5,000 each
- Main case-study prize pool: ₹1,35,000
- Best Questioner Awards: Fifteen audience members will receive ₹1,000 each during the award ceremony.
- Certificates: Certificates of participation will be provided to all eligible participants.
- Conference kit: Eligible participants will receive a conference kit.
