📌About the Event
Idea Quest 2026 is an innovation and idea-pitching competition organised by the Department of Networking and Communications, School of Computing, SRM Institute of Science and Technology. Based on the theme “Transforming Campus Challenges into Future Innovations,” the event invites undergraduate and postgraduate students to develop original solutions for sustainable living, smart campus practices, operational efficiency and community well-being. Participants will present their ideas before a judging panel, with an optional prototype or demonstration.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Who can participate:
- The competition is open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Each team must consist of two or three members.
- Participants must carry a valid college identity card.
- Students may choose from the suggested problem statements or propose another idea aligned with the main theme.
- Ideas must be original and free from plagiarism.
- Teams must prepare a presentation in PPT or PDF format.
- The presentation must not exceed 10 slides.
- Each team will receive five to seven minutes to present its idea.
- A three-minute question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.
- Teams may include a working prototype or demonstration, but it is not compulsory.
- Presentations must be submitted before the deadline communicated by the organisers.
- Participants must maintain discipline and follow all instructions issued by the event organisers.

- First prize: ₹10,000
- Second prize: ₹8,000
- Third prize: ₹6,000
- Total announced cash prizes: ₹24,000
- Participation certificates will be provided to all eligible participants.
- Winners must be present during the valedictory ceremony to receive their prizes.
- Lunch and refreshments will be provided during the event.
