📌About the Event
IEEE CEDA SWEAT 2026 – Hackathon Build Sprint is an AI and semiconductor-focused hackathon organized as part of the Symposium cum Workshop on Emerging AI/ML Trends by the IEEE CEDA Bangalore Chapter. Participants will learn about AI agents for semiconductor workflows and then build practical AI-agent solutions for real-world applications with guidance from industry experts. The event follows the theme “The Agentic Semiconductor Revolution.”

- Theme: The Agentic Semiconductor Revolution
- Mode: Offline / In-person
- Venue: DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Whitefield, Bengaluru
- Hackathon format: Hands-on build sprint followed by project demonstration and presentation.
- Day 1: Workshop on AI Agents for Semiconductors from 9:30 AM–1:00 PM, followed by the Hackathon Build Sprint from 2:00 PM–6:00 PM.
- Day 2: Teams receive a booth and presentation slot to showcase their AI agents to judges, mentors and attendees.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Eligibilty:
- Bachelor’s and Master’s students, industry professionals, academia and researchers.
- Student teams: Students participating in the hackathon compete in teams of 3–4 members.
- Students registering individually for the Workshop + Hackathon + Event will be randomly assigned to teams after registrations close.
- Academia and industry participants compete individually.
- Teams must develop an AI agent for a real-world application, with semiconductor-focused themes encouraged.
- Industry experts will be available as mentors during the build sprint.
- On Day 2, participants must demonstrate and present their solution through the allotted booth and presentation slot.
