Designing With AI: De-Risk Your AI Product is a live online training programme that helps designers, strategists, product professionals, and creative teams collaborate with artificial intelligence more effectively and responsibly. Conducted by Right AI, the programme introduces practical frameworks for understanding AI behaviour, communicating with AI systems, controlling model outputs, and identifying risks before an AI-powered product is launched. Participants will also work on hands-on exercises covering prompt design, context engineering, human-machine interaction, and responsible AI product development.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Who can participate:
  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in an MS, PhD or equivalent programme.
  • The applicant must remain enrolled as a student throughout 2026.
  • Eligible academic areas include:
    • Statistics
    • Data science
    • Probability
    • Related quantitative or interdisciplinary fields
    • Women and students from under-represented communities are strongly encouraged to participate.
  • Applicants must hold an IISA student membership.
  • IISA student membership is available free of cost.
  • Previous winners of IISA student competitions are not eligible to participate again.

🏆 Benefits for the Participants

• Awards will be presented in three categories:
  • Student Paper Award in Probability and Theory of Statistics and Data Sciences
  • Student Paper Award in Applications of Statistics and Data Sciences
  • Student Poster Awards across all topics
• Students selected for the Student Paper Competition will receive partial travel support.
• Shortlisted students will get an opportunity to present their research before an international community of statisticians, data scientists and researchers.
• Participants can receive expert feedback, academic exposure and networking opportunities during the five-day conference.
