📌About the Event
India Design Week 2027 is a national-level design learning and competition programme that encourages engineering students to convert innovative ideas into practical digital products. The 10th edition will provide students with hands-on experience in Autodesk Fusion and Revit Architecture through faculty mentoring, workshops, assignments and design challenges. Participants will work on real-world problems and present their solutions before academic and industry experts. India Design Week 2027 is organised by ICT Academy and powered by Autodesk.

- Faculty workshop duration: Three days for Autodesk Fusion or Revit training.
- Student workshop duration: Three-day workshops conducted at the participating institution.
- Gap between student workshops: A 15-day gap will be maintained between workshop stages.
- Design Now Competition: A one-day competition will be organised at each selected college
- Registration closing date: December 2027
🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- The programme is open exclusively to students from ICT Academy member engineering colleges and universities.
- Students must participate through an institution selected for India Design Week 2027.
- Eligible students include those studying in:
- Second year
- Pre-final year
- Final year
- Eligible academic streams include:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Automobile Engineering
- Aeronautical Engineering
- Agricultural Engineering
- CAD/CAM
- Biomedical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Architecture
- Students must have access to a compatible computer or laptop for running Autodesk Fusion or Revit.
- The system must have a functional microphone, webcam, keyboard and optical mouse.
- A minimum of 8 GB RAM is required, while 16 GB or more is recommended.
- Participants should have at least 5 Mbps internet connectivity; 10 Mbps is recommended for cloud simulation and rendering.
- Students must have approximately 5 GB of free storage and a DirectX 11-compatible graphics card with at least 1 GB VRAM.
- Windows 10 or later, or macOS Monterey 12.0 or later, is required.
- Fusion installation requires a 64-bit processor; students with unsupported systems may use its browser mode where available.
🏆 Benefits for the Participants
- Participation certificate: All participating students will receive an India Design Week 2027 Certificate of Participation.
- Recognition certificate: The top three teams will receive an India Design Week 2027 Certificate of Recognition.
- Prizes: The top three teams from each zone will be recognised with prizes.
- Exclusive goodies: Special event goodies will be awarded to the top three teams.
- Special recognition: Additional recognition will be given to teams that perform exceptionally well under particular evaluation criteria.
- Skill development: Participants will receive practical exposure to Autodesk Fusion or Revit Architecture.
