The Inlaks Residency at Delfina Foundation 2026 is a prestigious fully funded residency opportunity for an artist based in India. Who Can Apply?

The applicant should not have received any prior grant from the Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation for any other overseas project. The applicant should not have received any grant from Charles Wallace India Trust in the last five years. Inlaksfoundation

You must be an Indian passport holder currently living and working in India. You must be a contemporary visual art practitioner. Emerging and mid-career artists who have not previously worked in London will be given priority.


What the Residency Provides

The residency includes 24-hour access to a fully accessible studio at Gasworks alongside other visiting artists and permanent studio holders, an Open Studio or similar public presentation, single room accommodation within Gasworks Residencies House, basic living expenses in London, economy return flights from the artist’s home city to London, and a travel card for unlimited travel within central London. Residents also get opportunities to meet curators, academics, researchers, and other artists through organised presentations, studio visits, and events.


Prize and Recognition

This is a fully funded residency. All costs including return airfare, London accommodation, living allowance, materials budget, and visa fee reimbursement are covered. No application or participation fee is charged.
