Innovation for Her – Ideas for Women’s Safety is a nationwide innovation competition launched by the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD) in collaboration with MyGov, under the Nirbhaya Fund. It invites innovative, scalable and impactful ideas to improve the safety and security of women and girls through technology, community participation, infrastructure, legal measures and awareness initiatives.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Eligibilty:
• Open to all Indian citizens.
• Citizens, students, startups, institutions and organizations are encouraged to participate.
• Only one entry per participant is permitted.
• Submission must be a PDF of maximum 2 MB.
• Proposal limit: 4 pages or 2,000 words.
• Relevant images/pictorial representations may be included.
• Entries must be submitted only through MyGov.
• Ideas must be original, non-plagiarized and not generated using AI tools.
• Entries must not infringe copyrights or other intellectual-property rights.
• The competent authority’s evaluation and recognition decision will be final and binding.
