International Research Competition & Olympiad for Young Scientists 2026 (IRCYS 2026) is a global research competition for young innovators to present structured, evidence-based research across science, technology, engineering, social innovation, and humanities. The event focuses not only on project presentation but also on research design, methodology, scientific communication, mentorship, and measurable impact. The 2026 edition is planned as the 7th edition and will bring finalists to Bali, Indonesia for the international grand final.

- Theoretical Studies: Science and social research based on observation, literature review, and data analysis
- Applied Studies: Engineering, technology, innovation, prototype, software, or product-based research
- Humanity Studies: Social impact, community service, behavioural change, and intervention-based research.

- August 14: Opening ceremony and scientific judging session

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Open to Elementary School students (Grades 4–6)
- Open to Junior High School students (Grades 7–9)
- Open to Senior High School students (Grades 10–12)
- Open to undergraduate university students
- Participants must be 10–24 years old as of the registration deadline
- Participants can join individually or in teams of up to 5 members
- Selection process:
- Phase 1 – Initial Screening: Participants submit personal data and a research abstract of up to 250 words
- Phase 2 – Full Paper Review: Selected participants submit a complete research paper for review
- Phase 3 – Grand Final: Best teams advance to the offline grand final in Indonesia
