📌About the Event
The International Software Engineering Olympiad 2026, also known as ISWEO 2026, is a global programming and software engineering competition for school students and recent graduates. Unlike conventional coding contests that focus primarily on algorithmic puzzles, ISWEO assesses participants’ understanding of algorithms, system design, software architecture, coding and real-world engineering decisions. Top performers in the global qualifier will earn recognition and an opportunity to advance to the International Round.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Who can participate:
- Students from anywhere in the world may participate.
- Applicants must be studying in Grades 9 to 12 or must be recent school graduates.
- Participants must be 21 years old or younger.
- No previous competition qualification is required.
- Participants should be comfortable with programming, algorithms and basic software engineering concepts.
- Indian students satisfying the grade and age requirements are eligible to register.
- Cheating or violation of the proctoring rules may result in immediate disqualification.
- Participants must complete the qualifier independently.
- Google searches, friends, external assistance and secondary screens are not permitted.
- A stable internet connection must be maintained throughout the examination.
- Camera access and screen sharing are mandatory during the proctored assessment.
- Participants may revise their responses until the examination timer expires.
- Responses become final after the allotted time ends.
- Coding solutions must be submitted in Python, Java, C++ or JavaScript.
