Jus Novum – AU Nationwide Law Fest 2026 is a national-level legal festival organised by the Moot Court Society, Apex School of Law, Apex University, Jaipur, in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority, Jaipur District. Meaning “New Law,” Jus Novum aims to bring together students from across India through competitions covering advocacy, alternative dispute resolution, legal writing, constitutional knowledge, creativity and practical legal skills.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Eligibility for Law-Specific Competitions
- Students enrolled in a recognised three-year LL.B., five-year integrated law degree or two-year LL.M. programme can participate.
- Students from any year of their eligible law programme may apply.
- This eligibility applies particularly to:
- Mediation
- Client Counselling
- Arbitration
- Judgment Writing
- Eligibility for Open Competitions
- Article writing, creative writing, short film-making, poster-making, constitutional quiz, essay writing and debate are open to:
- School students studying in Class 8 or above
- Undergraduate students
- Postgraduate students
- Participants must be studying at a recognised school, college or university in India.
- Competition Rules
- Participants must register separately for their selected competition and pay the applicable registration fee.
- Hybrid competitions will begin with online preliminary rounds, followed by the relevant offline stages at Apex University.
- Online competition submissions must be completed by August 16, 2026.
- Participants must follow competition-specific requirements relating to team composition, submission format, word limits, speaking time and originality.
- Plagiarism, impersonation, late submissions or violation of the prescribed format may result in penalties or disqualification.

🏆 Benefits for the Participants
- Total announced prize pool: Up to ₹1.5 lakh
- Winners across different competitions will receive prizes according to their final rankings.
- The best-performing institution across the competitions and Gala Night will receive the Jus Novum Rolling Trophy.
- The winning institution’s name will be permanently engraved on the trophy.
