This competition is designed for maximum industry exposure. The jury consists of 20 “Critics” from world renowned institutions like National Geographic, Paris Photo, Aperture, and The Guardian. Each critic selects 3 winners independently, ensuring that niche or highly unique styles have a better chance of being recognized by someone who appreciates that specific vision.

🏆 Prize Details and Value

• Cash Grants: $10,000 total. The “Top 10” (photographers selected by more than one critic) each receive a $1,000 cash grant.
• Critics’ Picks (60 winners): Up to 60 photographers will be recognized. Each will receive a written quote/endorsement from the critic who selected them a massive “seal of approval” for an artist’s CV.
• Exhibition & Publication: Top 10 will be exhibited in London; all winners and finalists are featured in the permanent LensCulture online gallery and promoted to a global audience of 3 million.
• Free Entry Option: You can enter one single image for free. Paid tiers are required for multiple images or a full series.

🎯 What You Will Do

• Curate: Select your strongest work. You can submit a single “power shot” or a series that tells a story.
• Submit: Upload via the LensCulture portal. If you enter early, you may be selected as an “Editors’ Pick,” which provides immediate exposure on their Instagram (2.6M+ followers) before the winners are even announced.
• Statement: For series entries, provide a short text explaining the concept or inspiration behind the photos.
