📌About the Event
MakeInSilicon 2026 – Ideathon Contest 2.0 is an interdisciplinary innovation challenge organised as part of the International Symposium on Enabling Indigenous Semiconductor Infrastructure at IIIT Naya Raipur. The ideathon invites participants to develop creative, technically feasible and application-oriented ideas focused on AI, embedded systems, circuits, semiconductor devices and nanoelectronics.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Eligibilty:
- Open to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students across India; the event poster also lists B.Tech/M.Tech students, research scholars and faculty among the target audience.
- Team size: Up to 3 members per team.
- Abstract: Maximum 300 words.
- Ideas should align with one of the three listed technical tracks.
- Evaluation criteria:
- Novelty and technical merit
- Feasibility and scalability
- Relevance to national priorities
- Quality of presentation and communication
🏆 Benefits for the Participants
- Prize pool: Up to ₹1,50,000
- Winners: Top 3 teams from each track
- Consolation prizes: 5
- Winners receive certificates and mementos.
