📌About the Event
The Meghalaya Watershed Social Media Competition 2026 is an online creative contest inviting residents of Meghalaya to showcase the state’s watershed development success stories. Participants can submit a short Instagram Reel or photograph highlighting watershed structures, water conservation initiatives and their positive impact on local communities. The competition aims to increase public awareness about watershed development while encouraging residents to document Meghalaya’s environmental achievements creatively.

- Reel duration: 30–60 seconds
- Suggested subjects: Watershed structures, water-harvesting systems, restored landscapes, community participation and the impact of watershed projects
- Participants must publish their Reel or photograph on their social media account.
- Participants must complete the official Google Form available through the link in the Meghalaya Soil and Water Conservation Department’s Instagram bio.

- Entries submitted outside the official submission period may not be considered.
🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- The competition is open only to residents of Meghalaya.
- Participants may submit:
- A 30–60 second Reel; or
- An original photograph related to watershed development in Meghalaya.
- The submitted content should highlight genuine watershed work, structures, outcomes or success stories from Meghalaya.
- Participants must publish the entry on their social media account.
- The following hashtags are mandatory:

- Participants must tag the official social media handles mentioned by the organiser.
- The entry must also be registered through the official Google Form.
