📌 About the Event
Meraki 2027 is the 16th edition of the Global Business Plan Competition organised by the Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB), New Delhi. The competition provides a platform for undergraduate and postgraduate students to present innovative business ideas, receive expert feedback and connect with entrepreneurs, investors and industry leaders.

- Organizer: Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB)
- Mode of Conduct: Hybrid — online application and screening stages, with the main Meraki Weekend held in person in New Delhi; the Grand Finale will also be livestreamed.
- Venue: Fortune Institute of International Business, New Delhi, India
- Registration Fee: ₹1,000 for Indian residents; US$50 for non-Indian participants
- Team Size: Individual participants or teams of 4–6 members

- Registration Opens: 25 September 2026
- Registration Deadline: 10 November 2026
- Screening: 10–20 November 2026
- Interview Day: From 21 November 2026
- Meraki Weekend and Grand Finale: 25–27 February 2027
🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Open to undergraduate and postgraduate student founders worldwide.
- At least one team member must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree programme.
- Students from different colleges and universities can form a team.
- Participants can submit only one business idea under one track.
- The Women Founders track requires at least one woman founder.
- The AI/Tech track requires technology, AI, hardware or deep tech to be central to the venture.
- Early-stage business ideas and young ventures are welcome.
- Applicants must submit a business idea slide deck using the template provided after registration.
🏆 Benefits for the Participants
- Winner: ₹2,00,000 per track
- First Runner-up: ₹1,50,000 per track
- Second Runner-up: ₹1,00,000 per track
- Compete across three tracks: SDG/Social Impact, Women Founders, and AI/Tech.
- Receive mentorship and expert feedback on business ideas and pitches.
- Gain recognition through the Meraki Grand Champion title and opportunities for finalist media features.
