📌 About the Event
The Mujassam Watan Urban Sculpture Challenge is a prestigious international design competition held in partnership with the Al-Fozan Social Foundation in Saudi Arabia. This eighth edition invites architects, artists, and designers to propose large-scale urban sculptures that celebrate national identity and cultural heritage through contemporary form. Participants are tasked with selecting one of two specific sites and creating a landmark that is not only visually stunning but also technically feasible for construction. This challenge provides a unique bridge between abstract art and structural engineering, offering winners the rare opportunity to see their conceptual designs physically realized in a public urban landscape.
