📌 About the Event
NexHack 2.0 is a highly competitive 36-hour national-level AI hackathon organized by NexVerse-IITM (IITM Janakpuri, New Delhi).
Designed as a premier launching pad for deep-tech and software engineering, the event brings together over 500+ hackers from across the nation to build intelligence-driven software and hardware MVPs. The summit supports an #AI-First and #OpenInnovation framework, making it highly friendly for hardware prototyping as well as beginner developers looking to scale their ideas.
📅 Critical Timelines & Campaign Milelines
The competition is split into an initial virtual screening layer followed by an intensive on-site finale:
- Registration Launch Gate: Opened July 1, 2026 [Actively Open]
- Registration Closing Gate: July 31, 2026 (Final date to lock rosters)
- Round 1 (Online Screening Evaluation): September 5, 2026 (Virtual review of submitted concepts)
- Round 1 Result Proclamation: September 8, 2026 (Top cohorts receive physical venue call-ups)
- Day 1 (Physical Grand Finale Commences): Friday, September 25, 2026 (09:00 AM IST Onboarding)
- Day 2 (Physical Grand Finale Closes): Saturday, September 26, 2026 (05:30 PM IST Final Submissions Freeze)
- Physical Venue Hub: IITM Janakpuri, New Delhi, India.
👥 Roster Rules & Eligibility Parameters
- Target Audience: Open to all currently enrolled undergraduate ($\text{UG}$) and postgraduate students from any recognized academic institution across India. (Working professionals and faculty members are ineligible to hack but can apply to join as mentors).
- Team Scaling Bounds: Minimum 2 members and a maximum of 5 members per roster.
- Pre-existing Code Policy: Strictly prohibited. All production repositories must begin at the official Day 1 start time. Pre-built apps or previously presented MVPs will face instant disqualification during structural git audits.
