📌About the Event
The NHAI Mascot Design Competition 2026 invites Indian citizens to create an original mascot representing NHAI’s commitment to road safety, seamless connectivity, innovation, trust, sustainable infrastructure and nation-building. The winning mascot will become NHAI’s official visual ambassador for campaigns, events, publications and digital platforms.

- Mode of Conduct: Online
- Submission Platform: MyGov portal
- Theme: Participants must design a memorable mascot reflecting NHAI’s vision and values.
- Submission Requirements: A high-resolution mascot design and a concept note of up to 200 words explaining its symbolism.
- File Format: JPEG or PNG
- Minimum Resolution: 300 DPI
- Maximum File Size: 4 MB
- The mascot must work in both colour and monochrome formats.
- The selected participant must provide editable EPS or SVG source files.

- Competition Start Date: 31 July 2026, 3:00 PM IST
- Last Date to Submit: 31 August 2026, 11:45 PM IST
🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Eligibilty:
- The competition is open only to Indian nationals.
- Employees of MoRTH, NHAI or individuals involved in organising the competition cannot participate.
- Immediate family members of such employees and organisers are also ineligible.
- Each participant can submit only one entry.
- The mascot must be original, unpublished and free from plagiarism.
- Designs created using artificial intelligence tools are not permitted.
- Entries must not contain watermarks, signatures or personal identification.
- Provocative, objectionable or inappropriate content is prohibited.
- Entries submitted after the deadline or in an incorrect format will be rejected.
- The winning mascot will become the exclusive intellectual property of NHAI.
- NHAI’s decision regarding evaluation and winners will be final.

- First Prize: ₹1,00,000
- Second Prize: ₹50,000
- Third Prize: ₹25,000
- All winners will receive a Certificate of Recognition from NHAI.
