“Portals: New Perspectives” is an international juried photography exhibition curated by Ann Jastrab, Executive Director at the Center for Photographic Art. The theme challenges photographers to capture literal or metaphorical “passages” doors, mirrors, archways, or even shifts in light that transform a space. This is a highly selective competition that bridges the gap between digital photography and the fine art gallery world.

🎯 What You Will Do
- Capture or select images that explore “thresholds” and “points of transition.”
- Prepare up to 5 images (Entry fee: $39 for 5 images; $6 for each additional).
- Upload images through the PhotoPlace Gallery portal before April 6.
- Participate in the physical exhibition by sending prints if selected for the gallery show.
- Promote your work through the gallery’s social media and website features.
