📌About the Event

The Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2026 is one of India’s most prestigious national honours for children. Presented by the Government of India, the award recognises children who have demonstrated exceptional courage, creativity, talent and social impact. Young achievers can be nominated for excellence in Bravery, Social Service, Environment, Sports, Art and Culture, and Science and Technology. The award is presented by the President of India as national recognition of the achievements of India’s young changemakers.

  • Achievement write-up: A description of up to 1,000 words explaining the achievement, its outcome and its impact must be submitted.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

  • Who can participate:
    • The nominee must be an Indian citizen.
    • The nominee must be currently residing in India.
    • The child must be between 5 and 18 years of age as of 31 July 2026.
    • Previous recipients of the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar in any category are not eligible to receive the award again.
    • The achievement, act or incident submitted for consideration must have taken place within the two years preceding the nomination deadline.
    • The award is generally not conferred posthumously, although exceptions may be considered.
