Prompt-a-Thon 2026 is an offline prompt engineering competition organized by the YCCE ACM Student Chapter as part of COMPUFEST 2K26. The competition challenges students to solve real-world problems by designing, testing, and refining prompts for Generative AI tools. Participants may work on solutions involving AI assistants, workflow automation, business applications, Agentic AI systems, healthcare, education, finance, research, productivity, and other smart applications. The event focuses more on creativity, logical thinking, problem-solving, and effective interaction with AI than on advanced coding expertise.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Who can participate:
- The competition is open to students from all recognized colleges.
- Students from any academic branch, specialization, or year may participate.
- Students from Engineering, Management, Commerce, Arts, Science, Pharmacy, Architecture, Law, Medicine, and other disciplines are eligible.
- Beginners and experienced Generative AI users can participate.
🏆 Benefits for the Participants
- Total prize pool: ₹5,000
- The prize pool will be shared among the first-, second-, and third-place winners.
- The exact division of the prize money will be decided by the organizing committee.
- Offline participation certificates will be provided to all valid participants.
- Participants will gain hands-on experience in prompt engineering and real-world AI problem-solving.
- The event provides practical exposure to Agentic AI workflows and Generative AI tools.
