📌About the Event
PyCon Hong Kong 2026 is a community-driven Python conference that brings together developers, students, researchers, educators, open-source contributors and technology professionals. Under the theme “Many Voices, One Python Story,” the event invites participants to share practical Python projects, technical lessons, case studies, research, tools and community experiences. The programme will feature talks, lightning sessions, posters and a collaborative open-source sprint.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Who Can Submit: The CFP is open to everyone in the Python community, including experienced professionals, students and first-time speakers.
- Experience Requirement: Previous public-speaking or conference experience is not mandatory.
- Eligible Topics: Proposals must relate to Python or the Python community. Suggested areas include:
- Python tools and libraries
- Artificial intelligence and data science
- Web development and automation
- Open-source projects
- Technical case studies
- Best practices and lessons learned
- Research and work-in-progress
- Teaching, community and personal learning stories
- Proposal Requirements: Applicants must provide a proposal title, session format, presentation language and abstract.
- Optional Information: Applicants may add a detailed description, private notes for organisers, a session image and co-speaker details.
- Multiple Formats Allowed: Applicants can choose the format that best suits their idea, including a lightning talk, short talk, full talk, poster or sprint.
- Co-speakers: A co-speaker may be invited by entering their email address during submission.
